I tried very hard, I really did, when drafting my sermon this last Sunday, to think seriously about the transfiguration (the lectionary reading was Luke's version of it) without also thinking about David Tennant regenerating into Matt Smith.
But then, I also kept thinking: where is glory without sacrifice, and where is resurrection without suffering?
Something to ponder, perhaps.
